We Set a New Company Record for Fastest Retractable Awning Installation!

I went out to a jobsite yesterday to time an attempt at a new company record for the fastest Retractable Awning installation. It was the perfect jobsite for it.
- A simple installation.
- A great customer who didn’t mind us filming.
- And perfect weather- not too hot, not too cold, a nice breeze, no rain.
Here’s the specs on our company awning speed record-
- The awning is set up on the jobsite with all the packaging removed.
- The tools and ladders are set up.
- No other prep allowed.
- Time starts at the word go and ends when the awning is tested fully extended and fully retracted once.
The previous unofficial record was 2 hours. As you’ll see this one blasted it away…
Our new official company record now stands at 30 minutes and 27 seconds set by our owner David R. Powers and our construction manager David Bleacher.
