What does a minivan have to do with the flooring in your sunroom?
Category : Sunrooms
When all the work trucks are busy and out on jobsites, and you need to pick up some materials, what do you do?
In this instance, I had to pick up some flooring for a customer and borrowed the owner’s wife’s minivan. It also happens that the owner’s wife is my mom, so we snuck out for some lunch at a seafood restaurant where we’d installed a sunroom a few years back.
We’ll go to great lengths, yes, even a seafood lunch, to get your materials to the jobsite.
If you’re thinking about new flooring in your sunroom, here’s how we like to do it:
- There’s just too many options for me to carry samples of all of them. Besides, those tiny sample squares don’t do a great job showing you what it looks like.
- I like to send our customers to Lumber Liquidators or Lowe’s.
- Pick out your flooring, pay for it, and give me the receipt.
- I’ll pick it up and deliver it in time for it to acclimate to your jobsite.
- My guys will install it.
- You enjoy it.
You get exactly the choice you want without wondering if you made the right one based on a tiny sample.
By the way, here’s that sunroom I was talking about earlier. It’s at the Wicked Tuna in Murrells Inlet.
