Upcoming Jobs Still on Schedule

I wanted to send a message to all of our projects in progress or upcoming. Here goes…

1. Everything is still on schedule. We are classified as Essential, and our suppliers are also classified similarly in their respective states.

2. Every company we work with is taking extra cleaning precautions as are we. We’re even cleaning and Lysol spraying all the tools.

3. We have a very open sick leave policy in place. Anyone with symptoms isn’t coming in. If someone sneezes or coughs, I promise, it’s allergies.

4. If anything changes with your project, we’ll update you as soon as we know.

5. Our office and showroom are open with generous room for distancing and hand sanitizer right at the front door.

6. For almost all of our projects, we don’t have to come into your house at all.

7. Let the guys know when they get there if you want extra precautions beyond what they’re doing.

8. All payments can be done by distance through our website or by calling in. Click HERE.

9. Let us know if you need anything or more updates. I’m also updating often on our Facebook and through the e-mail newsletter. Be sure to sign up for both. Facebook and the Newsletter

10. The best for last…once we’re done, you get some extra space to try to enjoy quarantine a little better.

Thanks and stay safe!

Working to make construction sites safer during COVID-19

Just wanted to let everyone know that as this situation progresses, and since we are still working in an Essential Business role, that we’re partnering with various government agencies and industry associations to make our commercial jobsites and projects at your home as safe as possible.

One of the latest programs to enhance worker and customer safety has come from James Hardie, one of our siding manufacturers. You would know them as the supplier of Hardie-Plank siding, which many of you have on your homes.

Aside from standard social distancing protocols, while at your home, please let us know if there are any particular precautions you want us to take to make you feel more comfortable and safe.

Please let us know if we can help in any way.

We are still open!

We’re still open and continuing to help our clients enjoy the outside of their homes while stuck in self-isolation or voluntary quarantine. A large number of our clientele is in an at-risk age group, and we are working to keep them safe.

We’re finding that many of our past clients and new ones are sitting at home with little to do, and deciding to fix up their homes.

We pledge the following to help you through this tough period:

  • As all of our work is outside the home, we are able to maintain as much distancing as you need to feel safe. This way we can protect both you and our crews.
  • We primarily use our own employees rather than a constant stream of subcontractors being on your property.
  • All of our payments from the deposit to the final balance can be made completely online.
  • Our estimators are more than happy to deliver ‘no contact’ estimates and either communicate through an open door or completely by phone or computer.
  • Because an aspect of our jobs is to maintain critical structures so that frontline personnel can do their jobs, our company is in the process of consideration as an Essential Business. This will allow us to remain open longer should the situation worsen. This will also help protect our supply lines.

If we can help in any way, please let us know.

COVID-19 Coronavirus Update from Ocean Breeze Exteriors

I held off sending out an update for our business as long as possible, but now that there are cases in Horry County, I thought I should post one.

We are still engaged in full operations and continuing to complete all scheduled projects. Nothing has changed for us in the work we’re doing or our supply chain for new materials.

As a company we are doing our best to help everyone weather this storm better. We’re doing this by helping you enjoy social distancing and self-quarantine as much as possible.

  • Right now is the perfect time to enjoy the exterior parts of your home more.
  • As ‘social distancing’ becomes the norm for awhile, why not distance to your backyard or patio?
  • There is ample research showing the health benefits of being outside. Do it safely at home.
  • It’s not fun, and it can be scary, so¬†now is a time to ease distraction and stress as much as we can.

We want to help you make the best of it while everything else goes to panic mode around us.

To make you feel more comfortable, we are also taking the following precautions:

  • We have hand sanitizer in the office if you come by the showroom.
  • The ability to make all payments and financing completely online is active.
  • All of our work is outside, and we don’t have to come into your home for anything for your projects. We actually have one going on right now for a couple that is in self-quarantine. It’s a large sunroom that will enable them to enjoy their condo patio without worrying about the pollen or people.
  • Estimates function similarly. If you want a contact-less estimate, just let us know when you call. Our estimator can call you from the front driveway and let you know when he’s there. When he’s through inspecting your project, he can text your estimate to you.

The best thing we can all do right now is take the appropriate precautions to keep everyone safe while also maintaining as normal a life as allowable. That’s how we bounce back best and quickest when this is all over.

Give us a call if we can help in any way.

Dave
